NUIG wins Third Level 'Safety in Construction Competition' 2013/2014

A team of students from NUIG has won the Health and Safety Authority’s ‘Safety in Construction’ third level competition aimed at undergraduates.  At the final held in the RDS, Dublin on Wednesday 5th March, six short-listed teams battled it out to win the first prize of Apple iPads.  A team from IT Carlow won the runners-up prize of €600.

The remaining four finalist teams received €300 and certificates of commendation.
