Poppulo is a global leader in communications technology. In addition to creating and managing mailing, we also use their software to generate and deliver our electronic periodicals. The following three periodicals are available to subscribers:
- Health & Safety Matters Newsletter
- HSA Publications Updates
- Chemicals eBulletins
What personal data do we gather?
At the time of joining the mailing list for any of the above publications, we seek the following (* denotes mandatory field):
- First Name
- Surname
- Email Address*
- Preferred email format
How do we use this data?
We use this data purely so we can deliver any of our online publications to our subscribers. A valid email address is the only essential compnent required for this. A subscribers name is used to personalise the emails and publication deliveries.
Who do we share this data with?
This data is captured on a form that opens on the Newsletters & Bulletins section of the HSA website. When the subscription process is complete, the details are then securely passed to the Poppulo servers, where the subscription is added to the mailing list. We do not share your data with any other third parties for any reason.
How long do we hold this data?
Data is held indefinitely, as it is assumed that the individual wishes to maintain their online publication subscription until they remove their subscription. Unsubscribe links feature heavily at all stages of engagement with the online publications, and is a simple and instantaneous 2-click process.
How do we ensure your privacy is maintained?
Poppulo is compliant with current EU Data Privacy regulation, and will be compliant with the new EU General Data Privacy Regulation very shortly. Their level of compliance with all relevant data privacy legislation was a key consideration taken by the HSA when commissioning them to help manage our online publications functions.
