Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005)

The Safety, Health and Welfare Act 2005 (No. 10 of 2005) came into operation on 1 September 2005, except the provisions of section 4(2), other than as that subsection applies to the repeal of the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act 1989. Section 4(2) partly came into operation on 1 November 2007 and 1 January 2013, insofar as it relates to certain provisions of enactments set out in Part 1 of Schedule 2.

An administrative consolidation of the Act has been prepared by the Law Reform Commission. It brings together in a single text all amendments and changes to the Act, and is available on their website here.
