Information on the CLP Regulation and Safety Data Sheets

It is very important that Irish industry continue to meet their REACH and CLP obligations. For this reason the HSA held two webinars late last year to inform industry about their obligations. The first webinar took place on the 25th November 2010 and dealt with the Reclassification and Notification of chemicals; the second took place on the 2nd December 2010 and dealt with the Labelling and Packaging provisions and Safety Data Sheets.

What is a webinar?

A webinar is an "online seminar". The attendee sits at his or her own computer and uses the Internet to view the presentations and to provide text based questions to the presenters. The participant will be able to hear the presenters in real-time by using a (lo-call) phone number to connect to the teleconference. A webinar is a time-saving tool with the added advantage of eliminating travel costs for the attendee.
