Farm Safety Resource - Primary Schools

The Farm Safety resource has been developed for classroom delivery. It is suitable for 4th, 5th and 6th class primary school students. The resource comprises (1) a video, (2) a PowerPoint presentation and (3) a teacher guidance document. The video has been developed to teach children about farm safety and to help them to gain the knowledge and skills necessary to behave safely in the farm environment. The PowerPoint presentation includes additional farm safety content and a quiz, along with links to the video material. There is also a separate guidance document for teachers. This provides background information about the resource, including learning outcomes, exercises that can be carried out in the classroom and the quiz answers.
